A well made mid 20th century Windsor elbow chair in elm, ash and yew wood.


A well made mid 20th century Windsor elbow chair in elm, ash and yew wood and in the early 19th century style, the steam bent toprail over upright struts and a central pierced splat to the hooped elbow with turned end supports in yew, over a well shaped elm seat and raised on turned yew wood supports united by a crinoline stretcher, stamped and labelled to the underside by Barry M Murphy, Windmill Hill, East Sussex. English, circa 1970.

Condition: Excellent, the chair is in very good condition and is robust and solid, it is very comfortable to sit in and has no damage or marks. Overall it is a very well made example of the type.
