An early 20th century mantel clock timepiece in a black Chinoiserie case, in the Georgian style with a brass carrying handle and a bell top, over a circular brass bezel with a convex glass over a 3.5” silvered and engine turned dial with Arabic numerals and outer minute markers, and with blued steel hands, to a French eight day timepiece movement with integral keys and a lever escapement, all within an ebonised case with gilt highlights and Chinoiserie decoration to the front and sides. English, with a French movement, circa 1900.

Condition: Overall very good, the case is in very good condition with no major blemishes, the case has some very minor losses to the ebonising (exaggerated in the photos), however the gilt highlights and the lacquer are in good condition.
