A Dresden Porcelain Jardiniere

£345

A mid 20th century Dresden porcelain jardinière.

A mid 20th century Dresden porcelain jardiniere, of typical ‘fishbowl’ shape with a line of gilding around the edge and with rich Rococo style gilding to the body with four panels of hand painted and botanically correct flowers including roses, tulips, dahlias and clematis, on a spreading foot and marked indistinctly underneath, German circa 1950.

Condition: Overall very good, the gilding is rich and vibrant and the painted panels are in excellent condition; there appear to be some signs of gold paint around the foot, otherwise the bowl is free from cracks or chips.
