£2,450

A fine early George III silver coffee pot.

A fine early George III silver coffee pot, the hinged ogre shaped cover with part marks and cast wrythen finial over a baluster shaped body on a turned spreading foot, with a cast scrolling spout and a fruitwood handle, London 1764 by Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp.

Condition: Excellent; the cover closes neatly, and the whole is free from dents and scratches and it sits well. The marks are clear and legible, and there does not appear to be any sign of it having had any engraving. The colour is excellent.
