A fine late Victorian silver tazza, of circular form with a Rococo scrolling edge with beads and cartouches and with further scrolls and flowers within to a bowl with four pierced panels with vacant escutcheons and richly embossed with floral motifs, on a compressed ball over a spreading base with alternating pierced and floral panels. Sheffield 1895 by Atkins Brothers.
Condition: Excellent, this is a wonderful piece of silver and a beautiful example of its kind. It is free from dents and splits, and has a lovely rich colour. The chasing and embossing is of the best quality with crispness and no loss of definition.
