A mid 18th century six plank coffer of small proportions.


A mid 18th century six plank coffer of small proportions, the rectangular cover with moulded edge and loop hinges over a pine front with an oval lock escutcheon, with oak sides with triangular-cut bracket feet. English, circa 1750.

Condition: Overall very good, the coffer is in very good condition and is solid and robust, the top has a very old repair but otherwise the coffer is in its original condition, and has a pleasing colour and patination.
