A fine George III library clock in a mahogany case, the lancet shaped case with a reeded brass surround and with ebony stringing and inlay and on compressed brass feet, with a cast brass bezel over a circular 4.5” brass dial with Roman numerals in black, with blued steel hands to an eight day timepiece fusee movement with a pendulum, the dial signed Griffin & Adams, London, English circa 1805. Condition: Overall very good, the case is in very good condition with no marks or blemishes, the dial is clean with a rich warm colour, and the movement has been fully serviced and overhauled and is in excellent working condition. Overall the clock has a lovely appearance with nice contrast between the case and the brass fittings and dial.
