A George III Oak Lowboy

A George III oak lowboy, the rectangular top with mahogany crossbanding over two short and one long drawer, each fitted with their original gilt brass swan neck handles with oval backplates, and with crossbanding and beaded edges, with pierced brackets below and on square tapering supports. English, circa 1780.

Condition: Overall very good, the piece is in very good original condition, having had no alterations, and the handles are the originals. The timber has a nice colour and appearance and overall the piece has a charming look of country furniture.
