A George III mahogany chest of small proportions.


A George III mahogany chest of two short and three long drawers of small proportions, the rectangular top with moulded edge over two short drawers each with cockbeaded edges and with an oval lock escutcheon and with Hepplewhite style handles, over three further graduated long drawers and with canted corners with fluted quarter columns with gilt bases and capitals, raised on ogee bracket feet. English, circa 1780.

Condition: Overall very good, the chest is in very good condition and the drawers all run smoothly, it has a few minor scuffs commensurate with its age, the brasses appear to be the originals, and overall the piece has a fine colour and attractive grain.
