A George IV period cut crystal water or ale jug, of lightly baluster form, the broad spout with dentil cutting around the edge over a band of horizontal cut lines, with below a body with hobnail cutting, with an applied cut handle and plain underneath with a polished out pontil. English circa 1825.
Condition: Excellent, the jug is in really good condition with no chips or cracks, the crystal is clear and clean with no water stain inside. The base has wear commensurate with the age of the piece.
