A rare George IV dial clock timepiece, the 10” off-white dial with Roman numerals in black with an outer minute track, spear hands and marked Wm. Johnson Strand LONDON to the centre, with an eight day fusee movement with a pendulum, in a mahogany case with narrow surround and a cast brass bezel, supplied with two door keys and a winding key. English, circa 1825.
William Johnson is recorded as having worked in The Strand between 1825 and 1840.

Condition: Excellent, the clock is in very good condition with no damage to the case, the dial is in good condition with virtually no wear, the movement has been fully serviced and overhauled and is in full working condition, and the case is fitted with stabilisers. Overall the clock has a lovely colour and appearance.
