A George IV dial clock in a mahogany case.


A George IV dial clock in a mahogany case, the narrow reeded case with hinged cast brass bezel with convex glass over an off-white painted 12” convex dial with Roman numerals and outer minute track, blued steel spade hands and with an eight day fusee movement by Thwaites and Reed housed in a box with a back door giving access. English, circa 1825.

Condition: Overall very good, the clock is in very good condition, there are a few small losses to the dial which indicates originality of paint, the movement has been fully serviced and overhauled and is in excellent working condition.
