A fine George IV free standing library table of small proportions in rosewood, the rectangular top with rounded corners over two frieze drawers with original turned wooden handles and brass lock surrounds to one side and dummy drawer fronts on the other, raised on end supports with a central brace below the top, mounted on blocks with well drawn scrolls facing each one, the whole raised on bold bracket supports terminating in scrolling feet. English circa 1825.
Condition: Excellent, the table is in very good condition with no damage or repairs, there are no undue marks, and the table stands well with no wobbling, the drawers run smoothly and the handles are the originals. Overall the table has a lovely appearance with elegant proportions and wonderful grain, and with a fine, warm patina.
