A fine George IV side table in rosewood, the plain rectangular top with rounded corners over a single frieze drawer fitted with dividers and with a beaded edge and pierced brass lock escutcheon, and with a dummy drawer front verso, over richly carved end supports with stiff scrolling leaves over an elongated stylised flower, on a block with scrolled terminals and raised on elaborately carved scrolling feet with concealed brass casters. English, probably by Gillows but not stamped, circa 1825. Supplied with its original key.

Condition: Excellent, the table is in very good condition with no breaks or damage, it is free from undue wobbling and it stands well. Overall it has an excellent patina and colour, and for a smaller piece it has a great strong presence.
