A late 18th century oil painting on canvas of a wooded landscape with cattle watering in the foreground, a seated man to the left and a shepherd with a flock of sheep in the background with a small bridge, all under a blue sky with white clouds, framed in a giltwood frame. English circa 1790.
Canvas size: 51 x 61 cm (20″ x 24″)
Condition: Excellent, the painting has recently been cleaned, and it has at some point been relined. The frame is probably later but is in keeping with the painting.
