A late 19th century French brass carriage clock timepiece made by Richard & Companie, thé carrying handle with applied curb chain over a bevelled rectangular viewing glass to the original English lever escapement, to the case with further applied curb chain ornament, with gilded mask to the dial plate and silvered chapter ring with painted on Arabic numerals, and a gilt metal floral centre, fine blued steel hands, and with an eight day timepiece movement stamped to the backplate R&Co and Made in France below. French, circa 1880. Key supplied.
Condition: Excellent, the case is in very good condition with a nice patina and pleasing colour; the movement has been fully serviced and overhauled and is in full working condition.
