A late 19th century French brass carriage clock timepiece.


A late 19th century French brass carriage clock timepiece, the Corniche case of typical form with a swing carrying handle over an oval bevelled glass to the cylinder escapement, and with a white enamel dial with Roman numerals in black with an outer minute track and inner line, with blued steel hands to an eight day timepiece movement and on a plinth base. French, circa 1890. Supplied with a key.

Condition: Excellent, the clock is in extremely good condition with no damage or major scratches to the case, the dial is in perfect condition, the platform is the original, and the movement has been fully serviced and overhauled and is in full working order.
