A late 19th century cast iron doorstop in the form of a French bulldog, realistically cast with cropped ears and a bicolour coat, and wearing a (later) diamanté leather collar, French circa 1890.
Condition: Overall very good, the doorstop is in good overall condition with no missing parts, the paint finish is scuffed in places, consistent with the age of the piece, the collar, which is almost certainly a later addition, is in good condition. A fun, as well as usable, little doorstop.
