A Late 19th Century Miniature French Gilt Brass Carriage Clock Timepiece

A late 19th century French gilt brass carriage clock timepiece of small proportions, the corniche cased clock with a 1.25” (3 cm) white enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer minute track, blued steel hands, square bevelled viewing glass over the later platform, with an eight day timepiece movement with an integral winding key and hands turner, in its original Morocco leather clad desktop case with twin doors opening to reveal the clock. French, circa 1900.
Condition: Overall very good, the clock retains most of its original gilding; the outer case has a loose hinge on the right hand door, and some wear to the silk lining and leather cladding, commensurate with its age.
