A late 19th century oil painting on canvas of a pair of King Charles spaniels chasing a mallard duck, with reeds and distant woodland by a lake, within a broad giltwood frame with beaded inner and an egg and dart border. English circa 1870.

Condition: Overall very good, the painting has at some point recently been cleaned and relined and shows well, the frame has a couple of losses to the beaded inner, otherwise it is in good solid condition.
