A late Qing Dynasty porcelain fishbowl or jardiniere on a wooden stand.


A late Qing Dynasty porcelain fishbowl or jardiniere on an associated wooden stand, the bowl with an outturned rim painted with leaves and flowers and with pine fronds immediately below, over the ovoid shaped body decorated all over with flowers and leaves and branches, with a border of upright green leaves around the base, and decorated inside with three fighting fish and pondweed, on a dark wooden stand with five bracket supports. Chinese, circa 1890.

Condition: Excellent, the bowl is in extremely good condition with no chips or cracks and is structurally sound, and the stand is in good condition.
