A late Victorian card table in maple, the square top with breakout rounded corners and with a reeded edge, inset with a black leather with gilt tooled edge and central rose, over a shallow frieze with ebony stringing and with to each right hand side a sliding cupholder with brass handles and a circular hole, on turned outswept supports with reeded bands. English, circa 1880.

Condition: Overall very good, the table is sturdy and robust and stands well, the leather, which is probably the original, has some marks and scuffs but nothing beyond the age related, the cupholders slide well. Overall the table has a pleasing appearance and colour.
