A Louis XV period bronze candlestick in the Rococo style, the detachable nozzle fitting into a cast sconce with leaves and scrolls, over an inverted baluster shaft with heavily patterned scrolling motifs to a wide foot richly cast with rocailles and further scrolls, raised on three feet. French, circa 1750.
Condition: Overall very good, the candlestick is in good condition with crisp casting and with no splits, there is evidence of prior electrification, the piece stands well and has a great appearance.
