A Second Empire Louis XV style commode, the shaped marble top with moulded edge over a bombé body with all over parquetry veneer, with gilt bronze mounts and fitted with two drawers on outswept supports with gilt bronze sabots, stamped TORREZ under the marble. French, circa 1860.
Condition: Excellent, the piece is in very good condition, the marble is free from breaks and cracks, the veneers are in very good condition, and the mounts are well fixed and in nice condition. The drawers run well and overall the piece has a lovely colour and patina.
