An early 20th century brass bouillotte lamp in the Louis XVI style, the lamp with a brass carrying ring cast as a wreath over a square section shaft with an adjustable shade with braided edges and Regency stripe style material, fitted to a neoclassical flower over a fluted column and with twin U-shaped arms each with a sconce and drip-pan and faux candles to narrow type bulbholders, on a circular base with basket piercing and finely grained edge, French circa 1900.
Condition: Overall very good, the lamp is in good condition with no damage or repairs, the brass is in very good condition with a few marks consistent with age, the shade is showing its age however could be recovered, the lamp has been professionally rewired using gold pvc flex with a torpedo switch and a new plug with a 3amp fuse, and it has been PAT tested.
