A mid Victorian bracket clock of small proportions in the Queen Anne style, the domed top with moulded edge and with a scrolling fire gilt handle, over a case with glazed sides and an arched glazed door to a brass dial with spandrels and a subsidiary slow/fast adjuster, silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals and inner minute track, pierced hands and matted centre, with an eight day twin chain fusee movement signed to the backplate by William Page, Great Portland Street, London and numbered 873, striking the hours on a bell. English with an English movement, circa 1870.
