A Mid Victorian Silver Plated Champagne Cooler

A mid Victorian silver plated champagne cooler.

A mid Victorian silver plated champagne cooler, the campana shaped body under a flared rim with egg and dart moulding, with fluted sides and cast and applied twin handles, on a broad domed foot, bearing the mark of Walker and Hall, Sheffield, circa 1870.

Condition: Overall very good, the piece retains a good plate surface with some rubbing around the foot, there are two patches of lead soldering around the curve on one side, however overall it has a great appearance and a lot of presence.

Height = 27 cm (10.5”)
