A late 20th century Persian Nahavan rug, the rug with a cotton fringe at each end and with traditional designs of a large central medallion in ivory and blue with geometric shapes and overall floral motifs in the madder field, to ivory spandrels with linear edges bordered in blue and with a single guard stripe consisting of repeating geometric medallions and foliate motifs on a blue ground. Iran, late 20th century.
Condition: Excellent, the rug is in very good condition with no pile loss or wear, the fringes are both in excellent condition, the colours are vibrant and rich, overall the piece has the delightful appearance and colours of traditional Persian rugs.
