A decorative pair of early 20th century Chinese vases converted to table lamps.


A decorative pair of early 20th century Chinese vases converted to table lamps, each with a pedestal bulbholder fitted to patinated brass sockets to a narrow top over an inverted baluster vase with extensive floral decoration around central vignettes decorated with carnations, all on a swirled green ground and raised on carved wooden bases. Circa 1920.

Condition: Excellent, the lamps are both in very good condition with no damage to either vase, the stands are both in good condition, and each lamp has been rewired using new safety bulbholders, braided flex with 2 metres of free wire, and new plugs, each fitted with a 3amp fuse. The lamps are also weighted with sandbags.
