A Pair of Early 20th Century French Gilt Table Lamps

This item has been sold.

A pair of early 20th century gilt table lamps, each with a bulbholder on a simulated dripping candle to a cornucopia of fruit in a basket over a slender fluted tapering shaft with stylised leaves at the base, on a circular spreading capstan foot with stylised harebells. French, circa 1920.

Condition: Overall very good, the lamps are in good condition with no significant gilding loss, and they both have a nicely aged feel to them. The lamps have been rewired using new bulbholders, new braided flex and new plugs, each fitted with a 3amp fuse.
