A pair of George IV Old Sheffield Plate wine coasters, each with a flared rim with bold applied border of flowers and foliage with textured surfaces over a plain, slightly concave side and set with a walnut base with turned rings around an unmarked but probably silver button. English, circa 1830.
Condition: Excellent, both coasters are in extremely good condition, with very little plate wear and both with the bases set firmly within the metal. They both have a delightful colour and appearance.
