A pair of late 19th century Italian maiolica vases converted to table lamps, each with a bulb holder over a circular plate on a brass capital with a frilled edge, over a bottle vase richly decorated with eagles, leaves and scrolls over a band of stylised leaves with below circular images of putti on a navy blue ground in elaborate Baroque frames, and with winged caryatids with foliate motifs, on circular brass bases raised on four feet, Italian, circa 1870, later converted.
Condition: Overall very good, each vase is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, the brass is in good condition and dates from around 1900 or so, each lamp has been rewired using new braided flex and with a new plug fitted with a 3amp fuse.
