A pair of mid 20th century painted column lamps in cream and with gold accents, each with a bulbholder over a circular capital and on slender lightly tapering fluted shaft with moulded base and raised on a square plinth base, decorated with a draped shield escutcheon with leaping gryphon within and fleur de lys, probably Italian, circa 1940.
Condition: Overall very good, there are one or two small losses to the paint but otherwise the lamps are in good condition. They have been rewired using new safety bulbholders, new braided flex and with a new plug fitted with a 3amp fuse.
