A good set of eight mahogany Sheraton Revival dining chairs comprising seven side chairs and one carver, the lobed shield back with flared pierced central splat over a quartered acanthus spandrel to the generous shaped drop-in seat with serpentine front on reeded square tapering supports. American, made in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, circa 1900.
Condition: Excellent, the chairs are all in excellent condition and are solid and robust, and comfortable to sit on. The seats are covered in a fabric depicting fruit and foliage, which is in excellent condition but which could, however, easily be changed.
