An elegant set of Regency hanging shelves in mahogany, the shaped top with a central crest over a cascade of four graduated shelves with S-shaped end supports, fitted with brass screwplates to the top at each corner. English, circa 1810.
Condition: Excellent, the shelves are in very good condition with no undue wobbling, the construction is solid and the plates are secure. There have been two small old repairs to the back, however the shelves maintain their structural integrity. Overall they have a lovely colour and appearance, with elegant proportions and restrained design.
