A good set of William IV steel and brass fire irons, each with a brass handle with a crown shaped finial and hexagonal section grip decorated with Gothic chasing, to each a slender plain steel shaft terminating with a squared off poker, a broad shovel with pierced spatula and a pair of tongs with hipped hinges and a turned finial below. English, circa 1830.
Condition: Excellent, all three items are in very good condition with no damage or repairs, overall they have a lovely feel and rich colour synonymous with old steel, and are perfectly usable.
