A silver candlestick in the Baroque style.


A silver candlestick in the Baroque style, the detachable drip pan with scrolling edge and part marks to the nozzle, fitting to a waisted sconce with scrolls, swags and floral motifs over a baluster shaft with shells, scrolls and roses to a capstan on a shaped spreading foot with a scrolling base, vacant escutcheons and floral swags, and with acanthus leaf corners, loaded. Birmingham 1953 with Coronation Mark, by Ellis & Company Limited, and produced at their Empire Works in Great Hampton Street, Birmingham.
Condition: Excellent, the piece is free from dents and stands straight, the silver is of good gauge and is fully marked.
