A fine William IV library bracket clock timepiece in a rosewood case.


A fine William IV library bracket clock timepiece in a rosewood case, the raised fluted pagoda top with turned finial over a dentil moulded cornice to a door with fluted spandrels and chamfered brass corners around an ogee shaped aperture to the matching 3.75” silvered dial with Roman numerals and outer minute track in black with Wm Wilson London to the centre, and with blued steel moon hands, and with glazed sides and back door to an eight day fusee movement with a pendulum with retaining screw, keys supplied. English, circa 1830.

Condition: The clock is in excellent condition with no faults, the case is lovely with a rich warm colour and patina, using nice timber with good grain. The movement runs well and with a quiet ticking.
