A fine and unusual Art Deco silver cigarette box, the square hinged cover with a gadroon edge around a field of banded engine turning, over a semicircular body with similar banded decoration and cedar lining, and raised on four scrolling feet. Birmingham 1929 by William Base and Sons.
Condition: Excellent, the box is in very good condition with no damage, scratches or dents, the inside of the cover is engraved with initials MJ, both hallmarks and part mark (inside of the lid) are clear and legible.
