A late Victorian brass letter rack in the Arts and Crafts style, with decorative card-cut divisions graduating from the curving rear plate, and with an applied oval cabochon agate within a frame of twisted copper wires to the front, on a broad rectangular base. English, circa 1880.
Condition: Overall very good, the piece is solid and has no structural damage. There are a couple of minor distortions to the outer plate. The fitting of the stone and the copper wire is sound, and the piece has a pleasing colour and appearance.
