An early 20th century low table in the early 18th century style, the circular top with simple moulded edge with a line of trailing leaf, and decorated with lacquered Chinoiserie style motifs including trees, flowers, pagodas and figures in a garden setting over a gold ground, with a plain frieze with panels of geometric gilt decoration each over one of the four cabriole supports decorated with a foliate motif, terminating with a pad foot. English, circa 1910.
Condition: Overall very good, there are some small losses to the lacquered decoration and some areas of touching in to the gold ground and an allover craquelure, all consistent with age, otherwise the table is solid and robust and stands well, and is in good overall condition with a charming appearance.
