An early 20th century table lamp of small proportions, the bulbholder fitted to a sconce carved as a flower and in a larger sconce carved with leaves, over a fluted shaft tapering downwards onto a beaded capstan to an outswept lobed base, and fitted to a circular foot with a carved line of bold darts around the edge. Italian, circa 1920.
Condition: Overall very good, the lamp is in very good condition with no damage or repairs, there are a few tiny losses to the gilding consistent with age, the lamp has been rewired using braided flex and a new plug fitted with a 3amp fuse. Being small this lamp makes a perfect bedside table lamp.
