An early 20th century Aesthetic Revival wrought steel companion set of fire irons, comprising a shovel, poker, brush and pair of tongs, each with square top and with a stylised snake curled around the handle, and with stamped in decoration and a twisted midsection, on a similarly decorated stand with an arched quadruped foot. English circa 1900.
Condition: Excellent, the steel is bright with only a little dulling on the ends of the poker and tongs, it stands well and has good colour and patina.
