An early 20th century oil painting on canvas of a still life, comprising peaches with green and black grapes and vine leaves, laid on the ground with greenery behind, in a giltwood and gesso frame, within a slip and under a pane of glass. Monogrammed lower right IA and dated 1901. English, circa 1901.
Canvas size: 41 x 66 cm (16” x 26”)
Condition: Overall very good, the painting appears to be in its original frame and the glass seems to be the original. As a result the painting is clean and the canvas is in good condition. The gilding on the frame is almost all present with some small losses to the corners, and the whole has a very pleasing appearance.
