An early Victorian drop-dial clock in a mahogany case, the narrow surround with a cast brass bezel with convex glass over a 12 inch cream painted dial with Roman numerals and outer minute track with five minute indicators, black steel moon hands and signed J Walker Long Sutton to the centre, over a lower section with fruiting vine ears and with a waisted viewing glass over the brass pendulum bob, with an eight day fusee timepiece movement. English, circa 1840. Supplied with door keys and winding key.

Condition: Excellent, the clock is in very good condition with no damage to the case or dial, the dial may have had some light retouching in the past, and there is a very small split to the outer bezel around the lock, the movement has been fully serviced and overhauled and is in very good working condition, and overall the clock has a lovely appearance and a rich warm colour.
