An Edwardian mahogany eight day bracket clock timepiece, the lancet shaped case with boxwood stringing, with a cast brass bezel with bevelled glass over a silvered dial with Roman numerals and outer minute track, blued steel club hands and a single winding arbour, and with below and oval Adam style inlay, with at each side a gilt brass handles, over a moulded base and standing on gilt brass bun feet. To the rear a glazed door with gilt brass handle opening to reveal a timepiece fusée movement with short bob pendulum. English, retailed by Mappin and Webb, circa 1900. Key supplied.
Condition: Excellent, the case is in excellent condition and the gilding on the brass parts is very good, the movement has been fully serviced and overhauled and is in full working order.
