An Edwardian mantel clock in a mahogany case, the arch-top case with a moulded edge and gilt brass finials and carrying handle, over a white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and gilt metal hands with hinged cover with convex glass, fluted chamfered corners, inlaid with alternating boxwood and ebony stringing and a satinwood oval, over a moulded plinth base on brass bracket feet. The eight day two train Brocot-type movement by Vincenti with the matching pendulum striking the hours and half hours on a coiled gong.
