An Edwardian oval portrait miniature, of a young woman quarter length with piled up dark hair in the fashion of the day, wearing a rose in her chignon and a pink coral necklace, and in a white lace dress, framed in a plain gilt brass surround within a cloth mount with gold thread, and held within a rectangular ebonised frame with an oval aperture, inscribed to the back ‘March 1909, Mollie Remedios Painted by Leura (?) Ingle’. English, circa 1909.

Condition: Excellent, the painting is in excellent condition with no apparent paint loss, the colours are good and there is fine detail. The outer frame has a small area of loss to the top right hand corner, otherwise it is in good condition.
