An Edwardian silver and tortoiseshell trinket box.


An Edwardian silver and tortoiseshell trinket box, the circular box with hinged lid with decorated border with flowers at the four quarters, inset with a tortoiseshell cover inlaid in silver with a neoclassical oval patera with swags of flowers and ribbons around it, opening to a padded lined interior, over a plain body and standing on three fleur-de-lys feet. Birmingham 1902 by Adie Brothers Ltd.

Condition: Overall very good, the silver inlay on the lid is all present, the piece itself is in good condition and stands well, the tortoiseshell is in good condition, and the inner lining, while having some minor discolouration, is present and in good condition.
