An early 20th century Italian carved giltwood table lamp in the Baroque style, modelled after an altar candlestick of the 17th century by Bernini, with richly carved stylised leaves and a baluster over a covered urn, on a tripartite base with small pad feet. Italian, circa 1900.
Condition: Overall good, there are some small losses to the feet but otherwise the lamp is in very good condition and the gilding has a pleasing dark hue. It has been rewired using a new bulbholder, braided flex and a new plug fitted with a 3amp fuse.
